Comptroller

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Comptroller to lead our financial operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing budgets, and supporting strategic decision-making as the company scales. The ideal candidate has startup experience and is comfortable navigating both fiat and crypto financial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• •Lead all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting
• •Develop internal financial controls, policies, and procedures to support rapid growth
• •Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• •Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting for both fiat and crypto assets
• •Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all financial activities meet regulatory standards
• •Support investor reporting and financial due diligence processes
• •Work closely with leadership on strategic financial planning and decision support
• •Oversee audits, tax filings, and relationships with external accountants and financial vendors

Requirements

• •CPA or equivalent designation required
• •3-5+ years in a senior finance, controller, or accounting role, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
• •Deep knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting standards
• •Experience managing both fiat and cryptocurrency accounting and treasury
• •Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• •Familiarity with crypto taxation and international financial compliance is a plus
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills
